Privacy Policy
This is a plain-language summary provided as a starting point. Have it reviewed by counsel before relying on it in production.
What we collect
For class rosters and student accounts we collect only the minimum needed: first and last name, email address, and mobile phone number. Optionally, you may provide an employee ID, job title, and accommodation notes. We do not collect date of birth, Social Security numbers, or medical information.
How we use it
We use your information to manage the class roster, maintain your training record, create and operate your student account, and communicate with you about your training. If you opt in, we may send SMS or email updates; you can opt out at any time.
Consent
When you check in to a class you agree that Rescue Partners may use your information to manage your course roster, training record, and student account. Providing optional fields is your choice.
Who can see your data
Your instructor and authorized administrators can see roster information for classes you attend. Students cannot view other students. Access to records is controlled by role and verified on our servers, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log.
Data retention & your choices
We retain training records as needed for certification and compliance purposes. Administrators can export or delete records where legally appropriate. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, contact us at mike@rescue-partners.org.
Security
Sign-in links and password-reset tokens are stored only as hashes, never in plain text. We apply role-based access control and never expose private student information through our public or AI endpoints.
