First Aid fundamentals for the general public: handle injuries, sudden illness, and environmental emergencies until EMS arrives.

Course overview

Heartsaver First Aid prepares people with no medical background to manage the most common emergencies: bleeding, burns, broken bones, sudden illness, allergic reactions, and environmental emergencies. Students learn to assess a scene, stay calm, and provide effective care in the critical minutes before EMS arrives.

How certification & check-in works

After hands-on skills practice with your AHA Instructor, students receive a 2-year AHA Heartsaver First Aid eCard, tracked digitally on the class roster.

Yes. Commonly paired with CPR AED for on-site workplace safety days.
